Read the instructions

I’ve read reviews of this and other filters and some comment on water cloudiness. I find this too even with the OEM replacement—at first. The directions clearly state that you have to run water through it for some minutes before it runs clear. Discard the water from that initial run to your plants or sink. Prepare also for air and spurting water at first while the filter and line get primed. I’m replacing about every 6 months. Works fine.
